Roof windows & roof vents for vans & motorhomes

1. Always the cut-out size — Like our windows, the size shown is always the cut-out to make in the roof, not the outer frame. These are the standard Heki / Fiamma cut-outs. Also check the roof thickness range given on the product page — it runs from 25 to 80 mm depending on the model.
2. Permanent ventilation — Permanent ventilation is a continuous airflow that never closes completely — it is what keeps habitation air renewed (required for a VASP conversion in France) and what holds condensation down. You get it on the STYLE vented version (100 cm²), on the PANORAMA LED 50×70 (150 cm²) and built into the POWER VENT. The VANVENT is delivered with a permanent-ventilation kit.
3. Skylight vs roof vent — A glazed roof window lets in daylight and a view, and opens for airflow. A roof vent moves air fast — it pulls out heat, cooking smells and moisture. Many conversions fit one of each: the window over the living area, the vent over the kitchen or the shower.
