Additional information

Ninety litres in a column only 42 cm wide: the 90L is the large fridge made for a cabinet built into the side wall, with 74 L of fridge and a 16 L freezer. Native 12/24 V, it replaces the Dometic RC 10.4 and the Thetford T2090.

Power and wiring

Straight to the 12 V or 24 V distribution box. It draws 25 to 30 W in real use — a little over 2 A on a 12 V circuit, or roughly 50 to 60 Ah over a full day. The 70 W on the label is the compressor's maximum, reached only while it pulls the cabinet down to temperature. To run it on a campsite socket, add our 230V to 12V adapter.

Frequently asked questions

Does it replace my Dometic or Thetford fridge?
Yes: it is designed as a direct replacement for the Dometic RC 10.4 and the Thetford T2090, in a 97.5 × 42 × 49 cm format (H × W × D). Unlike an absorption fridge, it needs no gas and holds its temperature in hot weather.

Can it run on 230 V?
Not directly: it is a native 12/24 V fridge, which is what makes it efficient on a leisure battery. On a campsite socket, plug it in through our 230V to 12V adapter.

How much battery does it use?
About 50 to 60 Ah a day on 12 V in real use. A 100 Ah lithium battery with a solar panel keeps it running comfortably.

Can I use it as a fridge only?
Yes: remove the freezer divider and switch the controls to single zone. The whole 90 L then runs as a fridge, from −8 to +10 °C.

Is it approved for a campervan conversion?
Yes — CE and ECE R10 (electromagnetic compatibility for vehicles), accepted for conversion approval in the UK (DVLA, MOT), across Europe (e.g. TÜV in Germany, ITV in Spain, VASP in France) and in Switzerland (MFK).

What should I check before switching it on?
After delivery, let it stand upright for 2 to 4 hours before powering it on, so the refrigerant settles. Then allow 2 to 3 hours to reach temperature.
