Full description

The VanSlide Square is the square-cornered version of our double-glazed sliding window. Its straight edges suit a squared-off panel van, the dark-tinted double acrylic glazing keeps the inside out of sight, and the pane slides inside the frame instead of swinging out, so it stays flush with the bodywork. A blackout blind completes it. ECE R43 approved, delivered complete with blind, mosquito net and fitting instructions.

Choosing the right size

The size shown is the cut-out size, written width × height. A 700 × 400 window needs an opening 700 mm wide and 400 mm high.
The overall exterior size is 3 cm larger on each axis. The interior finishing frame sits proud of the wall and needs no extra room.

What you will need

One tube of Sikaflex 265 per window
Wooden battens or a wooden frame, 25 mm thick minimum (recommended on a panel van)
A jigsaw and a cordless drill/driver

Average installation time: about 1 hour. Plan for two people to hold the window in the cut-out while screwing.

Frequently asked questions

Sliding or push window: which one should I choose?
A sliding window opens flush with the bodywork, so it is the safe choice behind a sliding door, under a ladder or along a walkway. A push window opens wider and lets in more air when it rains.

Will it fit the curved wall of a panel van?
Yes. The reinforced aluminium counter-frame works on curved walls (panel vans) as well as flat ones (motorhomes, caravans). The small gap left on a curved wall is taken up by the Sikaflex.

Is it road legal?
Yes — ECE R43. It can be fitted without manufacturer approval and is accepted for conversion approval across Europe (e.g. VASP in France, TÜV in Germany, ITV in Spain), in the UK (DVLA, MOT) and in Switzerland (MFK).

How do I pick the right size?
Mark the cut-out dimensions on the panel where you want the window. If nothing obstructs that area — ribs, cables, conduit — you can fit it.

Where do you ship from?

All our products are shipped from our warehouses in Paris (La Courneuve and Goussainville). In which we also offer pick-up for urgent orders. None of our goods are in dropshipping or shipped from a foreign country.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days.

For France we ship with GLS.

For Europe we ship with Fedex with signature required at delivery.
