Self-adhesive insulation only holds on a clean surface. Armaflex Cleaner removes the oil, dust and release agents left on the bodywork at the factory, so the foam bonds to the metal and stays there.
Where to use it
- On every panel, rib and door frame before laying Armaflex AF.
- On the surfaces you are about to glue with Armaflex 520 contact adhesive.
- On your brushes and rollers once the job is done.
Why it matters
- It is the step people skip. Insulation that peels off a wall after one summer was almost always laid on a panel that was never degreased.
- It dries fast. Wipe, let it flash off, lay the foam — no waiting between the two.
- It is made for this foam. ARMACELL formulated it for the AF range, so it will not attack the material.
