STYLE 40x40 - Roof window for motorhomes and campervans (without permanent ventilation)

The STYLE 40 × 40 is a double-glazed roof window for the most common cut-out on converted vans: enough to ventilate, light a kitchen corner and clear cooking steam. It fits flat and corrugated roofs directly, with no adapter frame.

Choosing the right version

The size shown is the cut-out size in the roof: 400 × 400 mm. The frames overhang on each side — allow up to 130 mm more in width and 110 mm more in height for the interior frame.

• Without permanent ventilation (this page) — the window closes fully. The right choice if your conversion does not need an approval airflow, or already has one elsewhere.
• With 100 cm² permanent ventilation — air keeps flowing with the window closed, against condensation and for vehicle approval. Same window, same price.

💡 Good to know: the warm-white LED inner frame is an option. It runs on 12/24 V and saves adding a separate ceiling light above the same opening. Skip it if you already have lighting at that spot.

Frequently asked questions

Is it road legal?
Yes — ECE R43. It can be fitted without manufacturer approval across Europe, in the UK and in Switzerland, and it passes vehicle inspection in the UK (VCA) and across Europe (e.g. VASP in France, TÜV in Germany, ITV in Spain). Note that many approval bodies also ask for permanent ventilation on a converted vehicle: if that is your case, take the ventilated version.

Does this version have permanent ventilation?
No. If your conversion has to pass a vehicle approval, or if you want a constant flow of air against condensation, take the STYLE 40 × 40 with 100 cm² permanent ventilation instead — same window, same price.

Will it fit my roof thickness?
It takes roof thicknesses from 28 to 70 mm, on a flat or a corrugated roof, with no adapter frame.

How much room does it take?
The cut-out is 400 × 400 mm; allow up to 130 mm more in width and 110 mm more in height for the interior frame. It stands 12 cm above the roof.
