A dual-zone fridge for a standard worktop: 62.5 cm high and only 45 cm deep, with the fridge and the freezer each on its own setting. Native 12/24 V.

Choosing the right size

Measure your cabinet first — height, width and depth — and keep at least 10 cm free behind the fridge for ventilation. Every DCR fridge is dual zone and native 12/24 V, with the same controls; only the format changes.

💡 Good to know: if your cabinet is 53.5 cm deep, the 75 L gives you more fridge on exactly the same face. See the whole DCR range.

Which side should the door open? Stand where you will be standing when you use it: the hinges go on the far side from you, so the open door never comes between you and the fridge. The door is reversible, so a later change of layout is never a dead end.

Power and wiring

Straight to the 12 V or 24 V distribution box, no inverter. It draws 25 to 30 W in real use — a little over 2 A on a 12 V circuit, or roughly 50 to 60 Ah over a full day. The 70 W on the label is the compressor's maximum, reached only while it pulls the cabinet down to temperature. To run it on a campsite socket, add our 230V to 12V adapter.

Frequently asked questions

Can it replace my three-way (absorption) fridge?
Yes, it replaces Dometic, Thetford and Vitrifrigo three-way fridges of a similar size: check the 62.5 × 47.5 × 45 cm against your cabinet and allow 10 cm behind for ventilation. Unlike an absorption fridge, it needs no gas and holds its temperature in hot weather.

Can it run on 230 V?
Not directly: it is a native 12/24 V fridge, which is what makes it efficient on a leisure battery. On a campsite socket, plug it in through our 230V to 12V adapter.

How much battery does it use?
About 50 to 60 Ah a day on 12 V in real use. A 100 Ah lithium battery with a solar panel keeps it running comfortably.

Can I use it as a fridge only?
Yes: remove the freezer divider and switch the controls to single zone. The whole cabinet then runs as a fridge, from −8 to +10 °C.

Is it approved for a campervan conversion?
Yes — CE and ECE R10 (electromagnetic compatibility for vehicles), accepted for conversion approval in the UK (VCA) and across Europe (e.g. VASP in France, TÜV in Germany, ITV in Spain).

What should I check before switching it on?
After delivery, let it stand upright for 2 to 4 hours before powering it on, so the refrigerant settles. Then allow 2 to 3 hours to reach temperature.
