Product details
A tall, shallow column for the side wall of a panel van: 81 cm high and only 45 cm deep, with a 15 L freezer on its own setting. Native 12/24 V.
What's in the box
- 1 × DCR 80 L compressor fridge, dual zone
- Removable freezer divider
- Adjustable shelves and door bins
What you will need
- A 12 V or 24 V supply with a fused cable from your distribution box
- The 230V to 12V adapter if you want to run it on mains
Compatibility
- Vehicles: campervans and motorhomes
- Dimensions (H × W × D): 81 × 47.5 × 45 cm (65 L of fridge and a 15 L freezer)
- Power: native 12 V or 24 V DC; 230 V only through the optional 230V to 12V adapter
- Replaces Dometic, Thetford and Vitrifrigo three-way (absorption) fridges of a similar size
- Reversible door (left or right hinge)
Power and wiring
Straight to the 12 V or 24 V distribution box. It draws 25 to 30 W in real use — a little over 2 A on a 12 V circuit, or roughly 50 to 60 Ah over a full day. The 70 W on the label is the compressor's maximum, reached only while it pulls the cabinet down to temperature. To run it on a campsite socket, add our 230V to 12V adapter.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Can it replace my three-way (absorption) fridge?
Yes, it replaces Dometic, Thetford and Vitrifrigo three-way fridges of a similar size: check the 81 × 47.5 × 45 cm (H × W × D) against your cabinet. Unlike an absorption fridge, it needs no gas and holds its temperature in hot weather.
Can it run on 230 V?
Not directly: it is a native 12/24 V fridge, which is what makes it efficient on a leisure battery. On a campsite socket, plug it in through our 230V to 12V adapter.
How much battery does it use?
About 50 to 60 Ah a day on 12 V in real use. A 100 Ah lithium battery with a solar panel keeps it running comfortably.
Can I use it as a fridge only?
Yes: remove the freezer divider and switch the controls to single zone. The whole cabinet then runs as a fridge, from −8 to +10 °C.
Is it approved for a campervan conversion?
Yes — CE and ECE R10 (electromagnetic compatibility for vehicles), accepted for conversion approval in the UK (DVLA, MOT), across Europe (e.g. TÜV in Germany, ITV in Spain, VASP in France) and in Switzerland (MFK).
What should I check before switching it on?
After delivery, let it stand upright for 2 to 4 hours before powering it on, so the refrigerant settles. Then allow 2 to 3 hours to reach temperature.
