The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A charges your 12V leisure battery from the starter battery and alternator while you drive. It suits AGM, GEL and lithium batteries, uses a 3-stage charge (bulk, absorption, float), and switches on only when the engine is running. It is the alternator charger of the VANPOWER electrical kit.

How much current does it deliver?
Up to 30 A continuous (40 A peak), for an output power of 430 W at 25 °C or 360 W at 40 °C.

Does it drain the starter battery?
No, engine-running detection switches it on only once the alternator is charging, so it never draws down your starter battery when parked.

Which batteries can it charge?
AGM, GEL and lithium leisure batteries, using a 3-stage bulk/absorption/float charge.

Can I fit more than one for extra power?
Yes, several units can be connected in parallel to increase charging power.

Is it part of a complete electrical kit?
Yes, it is the alternator (DC/DC) charger used in the VANPOWER electrical kit.

Where do you ship from?

All our products are shipped from our warehouses in Paris (La Courneuve and Goussainville). In which we also offer pick-up for urgent orders. None of our goods are in dropshipping or shipped from a foreign country.

For France we ship with GLS.

For Europe we ship with Fedex with signature required at delivery.
