Full description

A hundred and seventy litres, of which 58 are freezer — twice the frozen storage of the 140 L for the same fridge volume. This is the largest fridge, and the one for people who live in the vehicle full time, shop once a week and want a freezer that holds a real reserve rather than a few days of supplies.

Choosing the right size

170 L (this page) — 112 L fridge + 58 L freezer, the largest freezer of the range
140 L — the same fridge volume, less freezer, in a cabinet 17 cm shorter
150 L Slim — a narrower format (41 cm wide) if your cabinet will not take the 52 cm width of the 170 L

Power and wiring

12 V or 24 V native, wired straight to the distribution box — 62 W, around 30 W in normal use. Plan on a 100 Ah battery as a minimum, and 200 Ah if the van also runs other equipment. Need mains power? Add the 230V to 12V adapter and the fridge keeps running on a campsite hook-up while the battery is left alone.

What you will need

A 12 V or 24 V supply, ideally with a 100 Ah battery (200 Ah if other equipment shares it)
Clearance around the fridge: 10 mm above, 5 mm on each side and 59 mm behind — or an exterior vent grille opposite the cooling unit if that is not possible
The 230V to 12V adapter if you want to run it on mains

Frequently asked questions

Can it replace my three-way (absorption) fridge?
Yes — sized to take the place of a three-way unit from Thetford or Dometic, or any fridge of similar dimensions: 145 × 52 × 49 cm with the feet on, 140 cm high with them off. A compressor fridge wires straight into 12 V, so no gas line and no extra installation.

Can it run on 230 V?
Not directly: it is a native 12/24 V fridge, which is what makes it efficient on a leisure battery. On a campsite socket, plug it in through our 230V to 12V adapter.

Which side should the door open?
The hinge is reversible, left or right. Stand where you will be standing when you use it and put the hinges on the far side, so the open door never comes between you and the shelves.

Is it approved for a campervan conversion?
Yes — CE and ECE R10 (electromagnetic compatibility for vehicles), accepted for conversion approval in the UK (VCA) and across Europe (e.g. VASP, TÜV, ITV…), and Switzerland.

Where do you ship from?

All our products are shipped from our warehouses in Paris (La Courneuve and Goussainville). In which we also offer pick-up for urgent orders. None of our goods are in dropshipping or shipped from a foreign country.

For France we ship with GLS.

For Europe we ship with Fedex with signature required at delivery.
