Power and wiring
Straight to the 12 V or 24 V distribution box. It draws 25 to 30 W in real use — a little over 2 A on a 12 V circuit, or roughly 50 to 60 Ah over a full day.
Which side should the door open?
Stand where you will be standing when you use it. The hinges go on the far side from you, so the open door never comes between you and the fridge.
The door is reversible, so a later change of layout is never a dead end.

Will it replace my current fridge?
It can take the place of a Dometic or Carbest compressor fridge of the same size: check that your recess takes 53 × 38 × 50 cm. For a swap that keeps the same format and front panel, see the 50L SVR.
How do I defrost it?
Plan a defrost from time to time: empty it, switch it off, let the ice melt, wipe it dry and switch it back on.
Is it approved for a campervan conversion?
Yes — CE and ECE R10, accepted for conversion approval across Europe (e.g. VASP in France, TÜV in Germany, ITV in Spain), in the UK (DVLA, MOT) and in Switzerland (MFK).
