Product advantages

Seals every joint between panels — without it, humid air gets into the gaps and condenses on the cold metal behind
15 m × 50 mm, 3 mm thick — about one roll per 5 m² of Armaflex; roughly 6 rolls for a full van
Same closed-cell AF foam as the rolls — the joint insulates like the rest of the panel, it is not just tape
Self-adhesive, apply without stretching — stretching it reduces the grip and the performance; clean, dry surface only
Keeps the vapour barrier continuous — this is what makes the difference between insulation and insulation that rusts a van

Additional information

Package content

1 self-adhesive Armaflex AF tape roll, 15 m × 50 mm, 3 mm thick

What you will need: Armaflex Cleaner to degrease the surface first, and a roller to press the tape down.

Frequently asked questions

How do I lay it? On a clean, dry surface, without pulling on the roll — stretched tape loses both its grip and its insulating value. Press it down along the whole length.

Can I use ordinary aluminium tape instead? It will close the joint but it will not insulate it, so the joint stays a cold line across the panel. A question or a doubt? Our technical team will answer you.
