Replace a cracked or yellowed roof light without touching the roof: remove the old one, clean, and fit a STYLE 40x40, SKYDOME 40x40 or a 12 V roof vent fan in the same opening.

Which 40 x 40 model?

STYLE 40x40: double glazing, blackout blind and mosquito net, optional LED frame; version with 100 cm² permanent ventilation. Roof thickness 28 to 70 mm.
SKYDOME 40x40: simple tinted dome with integrated mosquito net and internal lock, nothing to wire.
EuroVan 40x40 or VANVENT 3.0: 12 V roof vent fan to extract heat and cooking steam.

What size is a standard caravan skylight?
The most common cut-out is 400 × 400 mm. Measure the opening in the roof, not the outer frame of the old skylight.

Can I replace a Mini Heki format roof light?
Yes. Our 40 x 40 roof lights fit the 400 × 400 mm cut-out of the Mini Heki format, so the opening stays the same.

Which sealant should I use?
Our Sikaflex skylight pack combines Sikaflex 552 AT and SikaLastomer 831E butyl tape.
